Not on the Play Store — here's the honest reason
Wingyy works by reading the chat on screen through Android's accessibility system. That's the whole product, and Google's store policy is restrictive about accessibility-based apps, so we ship the APK directly. You'll see two normal Android warnings during install ("allow installs from this source" and Play Protect's "Install anyway"), and on Android 13+ you'll need to flip one Allow restricted settings switch. Setup is two Android toggles, and the in-app wizard opens each screen for you. Display over other apps is what lets the bubble float. Wingyy Reader is the accessibility service that reads the chat you're already looking at — it's how the product works at all, and it never reads anything outside the chat apps you pick.

Wingyy is an Android app that floats a small bubble over your chat apps. Tap it and Wingyy reads the conversation currently on your screen, then gives you three tailored replies plus a short coach brief explaining what is actually going on in the chat. It also writes openers from a profile, critiques old conversations, translates a raw thought into a sendable message, and remembers each person across apps.
Which apps does Wingyy work over?
WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, Telegram, Signal, Messenger, Discord, SMS and TikTok. Because Wingyy reads whatever chat is on screen rather than plugging into a specific service, it works in most text-based apps.
Is Wingyy available for iPhone?
No. Wingyy is Android-only and needs Android 11 or newer. iOS does not allow a system-wide overlay to read what is on screen in another app, so this kind of tool cannot exist on iPhone.
Why is Wingyy not on the Google Play Store?
Wingyy reads the chat on screen through Android's accessibility service, which is what makes it a one-tap coach instead of a screenshot-paste chatbot. Google's store policy is restrictive about accessibility-based apps, so Wingyy is distributed directly as an APK from wingyy.app. Installing takes two extra taps — the download page covers every prompt.

Never. Wingyy drafts and coaches; every suggestion is tap-to-copy and you decide what to send, after editing it if you want. Wingyy has no ability to send, swipe, or post on your behalf.
Why is the Accessibility switch greyed out on my phone?
On Android 13 and newer, apps installed outside the Play Store show the accessibility toggle greyed out as a "Restricted setting". Unlock it once: Settings → Apps → Wingyy → ⋮ (top right) → Allow restricted settings, enter your PIN, then turn Wingyy Reader on. The app also has a shortcut button that jumps you straight there. Can Wingyy coach in languages other than English?
Yes. You set a global language and can override it per person, so you can write in English to one match and in Swedish, German, Spanish or another language to the next. Wingyy reads the chat in her language and can reply in whichever language you pick.
What data does Wingyy store?
The conversations you scan, so coaching keeps context; the notes and facts the coach builds about each person; and the email address from your checkout. Data is stored on servers in the EU, is never sold or used for advertising, and you can delete everything including your account from inside the app under Account → Delete. Details in the privacy policy.
How do I cancel my Wingyy subscription?
One click in the Stripe billing portal, linked from inside the app and from your payment receipt. Your remaining tokens keep working until the end of the period you already paid for.
Is using an AI texting coach cheating?
That is your call, but Wingyy is a drafting and coaching tool rather than a bot: you read every suggestion, edit what you want, and send it yourself. Learn mode explains the reasoning behind each suggestion so you improve off the app rather than depending on it. It does not automate swiping, sending, or impersonation.
Do I get a refund if I do not like it?
The free trial exists so you can evaluate Wingyy before paying: 30 tokens, no card. If you subscribe and it still isn't for you, email support@wingyy.app within 7 days of the charge and we refund the tokens you haven't spent, pro rata. Tokens already spent aren't refundable, because the model cost has been incurred. That is on top of the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal EU consumers have, described in the Terms. You can also just cancel at any time and keep your tokens until the period ends.
Is it safe to install an APK?
An APK is just the Android install file — the same thing the Play Store downloads for you, only fetched directly from us. What matters is where it comes from: only ever install Wingyy from wingyy.app/get, never from an APK-mirror site. The build is signed with our release key, which is what lets your phone verify that later updates really come from us and refuse anything that doesn't. Chrome's "this type of file can harm your device" notice appears for every APK regardless of who made it. The install page walks through each prompt.
Does Wingyy see my chats all the time?
No. The accessibility service can only read the screen at the moment you tap the bubble — that tap is what triggers a read, and nothing is captured, uploaded or stored before it. It only works in the chat apps you switch on, it never runs in your banking or work apps, and it takes no screenshots and does no background listening. You can revoke the permission from Android settings at any time, and delete everything already stored from Account → Delete in the app.
