Wingyy is an AI texting coach for Android. It floats as a small bubble on top of your chat apps. Tap the bubble and it reads the conversation on your screen, tells you where the conversation actually stands, and drafts three replies you can send. It also does an honest post-mortem of a chat that went sideways, and rewrites a message you've drafted so it lands better. You copy what you like and send it yourself.

Installing any app outside the Play Store means trusting the publisher, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can point to:

• Download only from wingyy.app, never a mirror or an "APK download" aggregator.
• Every release is signed with the same key, and Android enforces that — a tampered build cannot install over your existing Wingyy. The install simply fails.
• The in-app updater verifies a SHA-256 checksum before installing anything.
• Wingyy requests no microphone, camera, location, contacts, SMS or file permissions, and its accessibility service is limited to a fixed list of chat apps.

Your browser and Play Protect will both warn you during install. Those warnings appear for every sideloaded app and are about distribution history, not about what the code does — the longer explanation is here.

Wingyy works by reading the chat on your screen through Android's accessibility system, which is what makes it a one-tap coach instead of a chatbot you paste screenshots into. Google's Play Store policy on accessibility-service apps is restrictive, so we distribute directly instead. Same app, one extra step to install.

Android 11 and newer. It will not install on Android 10 or older, because the on-screen read relies on an API added in Android 11. There is no iPhone version and there can't be one — iOS has no equivalent of a floating bubble that reads another app's screen.

No. An Android accessibility service can declare a fixed list of apps it wants screen content from, and the operating system enforces it. Wingyy's list is baked into the app: Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Telegram, Signal, Facebook Messenger, Discord, Google Messages, Samsung Messages and TikTok. Android never delivers content from anything else — your banking app, email, browser, photos and password manager are never sent to Wingyy at all. Within those chat apps, a read only happens when you tap the bubble.

No. Wingyy does not request or receive keystroke or text-input events, and does not read what you type on your keyboard. It reads the messages already rendered in a chat you are looking at, when you tap the bubble.

When you scan, the conversation text and one screenshot of that chat screen are sent to our server and to the AI providers that generate the coaching, and the conversation is stored so the coach remembers context between sessions. That storage is what makes the advice improve over time, and it is also the main reason to clear it out when you're done with someone. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. The processors we use and where data is stored are listed in the Privacy Policy.

Worth knowing: Signal is on the supported list. End-to-end encryption protects a message in transit, not after it's on your screen — so scanning a Signal chat sends that text to our server like any other. Nothing is read unless you tap the bubble.

Never. Wingyy has no ability to send messages or tap buttons in your chat app. Suggestions are copy-to-clipboard — you paste and hit send yourself.

On the phone, Settings → Delete all local data inside Wingyy wipes the app's local database of conversations, notes and preferences. For server-side deletion, email support@wingyy.app from the address you used at checkout and ask for your account to be deleted. Deleting your data and cancelling your subscription are separate actions — do both if you want both.

One token is one AI action: a scan, an analysis, or a translation. Opening the app, reading past suggestions, changing settings and sending feedback or bug reports are all free.

The three tools stop working until your balance refills. On a subscription that happens automatically at the start of each billing cycle. If you need more before then, you can buy a top-up from inside the app. On the free trial, running out means it's time to decide whether to subscribe.

No. Your balance resets to your plan's monthly amount at the start of each cycle, and unused tokens do not carry over.

Yes, in one click through the billing portal linked from the app and from your payment receipt. There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Your tokens keep working until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges but does not delete your data — ask for account deletion separately if you want that too.

The free trial exists so you can try all three tools before paying anything. Because access and tokens are delivered immediately, subscriptions are generally non-refundable, and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. If something actually went wrong — you were charged twice, the app never worked on your phone — email support@wingyy.app and we'll sort it out. The Terms are the authoritative version of this.

Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Snapchat, Telegram, Signal, Facebook Messenger, Discord, Google Messages, Samsung Messages and TikTok DMs. Snapchat is a partial case because its messages are deleted after being viewed, so there is often nothing left on screen to read.

The coaching runs on large language models that handle major languages well, so you can scan a conversation in Swedish, German, Spanish or another widely-used language and get suggestions back in that language. Quality is best in English and drops off for less widely-spoken languages and for heavy slang. The app's own interface is in English. Try it on the free trial in the language you actually text in before subscribing.

Nothing is added to your messages — no watermark, no signature, no metadata. Wingyy is not visible from her side. What can give it away is you: sending replies that don't sound like you, or answering in a tone that doesn't match the rest of your conversation. Wingyy calibrates to your style, but edit anything that doesn't sound like something you'd actually say.

Wingyy doesn't automate anything inside those apps: it doesn't log into your account, doesn't use their APIs, doesn't send messages, doesn't auto-swipe and doesn't bot anything. It reads what's on your screen and suggests text for you to send yourself, which is closer to a friend reading over your shoulder than to a bot. That said, these platforms write broad terms and change them, and we can't promise how any particular platform interprets its own rules. Using an AI assistant to help write your messages is your decision and your responsibility.

It runs a small background service so the bubble can appear, and it reads the screen only when you tap the bubble — there is no continuous scanning or recording. The heavy work happens on our server, not on your phone. You do need to exempt Wingyy from battery optimisation, otherwise Android kills the service and the bubble disappears.

Yes. Wingyy is strictly for adults, 18 and over. Some coaching styles produce adult content, and it is a tool for adult dating. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
