Wingyy Help

Wingyy is installed directly from us rather than the Play Store, so setup has a few extra taps — all of them Android's own security prompts. These pages walk through every single one, exactly as your phone words it.

For Wingyy on Android 11 and newer · last updated July 2026

Quick start in 5 steps

If you just want the short version, this is the whole setup. Each step links to the detailed instructions for your exact Android version.

  1. Download the APK

Open wingyy.app/get in Chrome and tap the download button. Your browser will warn you that this kind of file can harm your device — that warning shows for every app installed outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.

  2. Let your browser install it

Tap Open on the finished download. Android asks you to allow installs from Chrome — turn the switch on, press back, and tap Install. Play Protect may add an Install anyway confirmation. Full detail →

  3. Open Wingyy and get in

Tap Try free for the trial (30 tokens, no card), or paste the license key you got at checkout.

  4. Turn on the two permissions that matter

Display over other apps (draws the bubble) and Accessibility → Wingyy Reader (reads the chat that's on your screen). The in-app wizard links straight to both screens. What each one actually does →

  5. Open a chat and tap the bubble

Open WhatsApp, Tinder, Hinge or any supported app. The bubble appears at the edge of the screen. Tap it to scan the conversation and get your replies.

The one thing that trips almost everyone up

On Android 13 and newer, the Accessibility switch for a sideloaded app is greyed out and says Restricted setting. Nothing is broken — it's an Android security default. Unlock it once:

Settings Apps Wingyy ⋮ (top-right) Allow restricted settings

Then go back to Accessibility and turn Wingyy Reader on. Full walkthrough, including Samsung →

A note on language

Every quoted button and menu name on these pages is the English Android wording. If your phone is set to Swedish you'll see the Swedish equivalents — Inställningar (Settings), Appar (Apps), Tillgänglighet (Accessibility), Installera okända appar (Install unknown apps), Visa över andra appar (Display over other apps) — in the same places. The install guide lists the Swedish label next to each critical step. Wording also varies slightly between manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus and Google all phrase a few things differently), so treat the quotes as "look for something like this", not an exact string match.

Still stuck?

Two ways to reach us, in order of usefulness:

  1. From inside the appSettings → Support & feedback, pick Bug, describe what happened and leave Include recent logs ticked. That sends us the device model, Android version and recent app logs, which is usually enough to spot the problem immediately. It doesn't cost a token.
  2. By emailsupport@wingyy.app. Tell us your phone model, your Android version, and what you saw on screen.

If your license key isn't working, read this first — most key problems are a whitespace or a wrong-email issue and fix themselves in a few seconds.
